About Cottontail Breads

Cottontail Breads is a home cottage microbakery registered as a NY state home food processor located in Lake Ronkonkoma, Suffolk County.  As a baker, I am self taught. Baking artisanal style breads (commonly known as sourdough) started as a hobby and has become a passion focusing on producing naturally leavened breads using wild yeast cultivated from organic raisins.  Owning a microbakery to serve my community has been long in the imagination and dreams but is now wonderfully realized. We hope to share our passion with the community and for the community to discover our breads.
